If you’re staying anywhere in Noosa, you’ll find plenty of things to see and do to keep the whole family entertained.

One of the best things about Noosa is the magnificent beaches. As they’re somewhat protected, the waves are only gentle. This means Noosa’s beaches are the ideal holiday attraction for families with younger kids. The warm waters of Noosa’s pristine white beaches make it easy for everyone to enjoy a beach vacation. There are also the glorious, still-waters of the Noosa River, which are also ideal for swimming and fishing.

Things to see and do

Australia Zoo became a world-famous name thanks to Steve Irwin, and it’s around 30 minutes easy drive out of Noosa in Beerwah. Kids will love cuddling the cute koalas, feeding the elephants, walking with the tigers, or just watching the crocodiles being fed. The entire zoo is built so animals are living in conditions as close to their natural habitat as possible, so there’s plenty for the family to learn too.

Of course, Underwater World on the Wharf in Mooloolaba is another excellent place for the family to learn more about life under the sea. Swim with the playful seals, or be a little more daring and dive in with the sharks. There’s also the Oceanarium that lets you travel more than 80 metres below more than 2 ½ million litres of water with marine life swimming all around you.

Noosa National Park is also a great option for the entire family to explore the stunning vine forests, marvel at the ancient sand dunes and look for the abundant local wildlife.
